Description

Stainless Steel Turnings Scrap must consist of clean 18-8 type stainless steel turnings containing a minimum 7% nickel and 16% chrome. Compared to 18-8 bundles and solid, 18-8 turning returns lesser value to steel mills since it has lesser moisture content than 18-8 bundles. It must be free of non-ferrous metals, non metallics, excessive iron, oil and other contaminants.
