Description

The ISRI Code RADIO consists primarily of a mixture of hard / soft lead scrap, including solid lead scrap, lead shot (pellet) scrap, lead heavy scrap and lead chute (bow) scrap. Mixed lead scrap is cheaper than soft lead scrap because it contains both soft lead scrap and hard lead scrap and requires additional processing before use. Since mixed lead scrap contains lead scrap, it also contains antimony. Must be a clean lead solid free of other substances such as dross, battery plates, lead coated wiring, foldable tubes, type metals, aluminum, zinc, iron, brass fittings, dirty chemical lead, radioactive material, etc.
