Description

Lead battery plates are components of lead-acid battery which has a small amount of calcium and tin to build up strength for the plates and improve durability in extensive cycle service. Based on ISRI Specification 2020, It must be free of non-metallics such as plastic or rubber, but separators may be included. Lead connector is the only other metallic that can be included in this specification.

The recycling process of lead battery plates starts with putting the plates to Lead Refining Furnace to be melted with chemical treatments which leads to making of Pure Lead.
